Hola!
This year I was pretty lucky with my summer break. They started at the end of May and ended in the beginning of September which makes a total of three and a half months. In such a long time I took some amazing photos and thought I'd share some of my favorites. I'll put them into a chronological order and explain what happened in the moment I took the photo.

All time low concert in the front row- what more do I have to say?

We went on a road trip from St. Louis to Canada for a week and I was so fascinated by the Niagara Falls, that they definitely made it into this post.

This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. On the left you can see Imagine Dragons and in the right picture is Halsey. She was the opening act for their smoke and mirrors tour.

It was the 4th of July and me and my family went out to watch some fireworks. We were told that the best one was in the parking lot of the shopping mall. We went there and there were so many people. Many had blankets, little chairs and food. But we just stood under a tree and waited 'til it started. Then it began and every second there was a new and different looking firework. I took some photos because it was so amazing but most of the time I just watched them explode in the black night sky.

On July 10th our second road trip started so we went on a plane to LA and made our way up to Seattle. We spent the first couple of days in LA where we were the perfect tourist. We went to see the Walk of fame and then went on a little tour to see some celebrity houses. The third picture I took at Venice beach. It was absolutely crowded and we watched the skaters for at least an hour.

Next stop was San Francisco. We drove there for over 7 hours because we stopped every time we saw another amazing coast. We were only there for a day so we did something what I would recommend everyone with a tight schedule: Go on a Segway tour. We started at Pier 41 and just went through all those little but very steep roads. We saw a lot in only two hours and it wasn't some lame bus tour where you just sit and watch. The next morning we had to leave again but we hadn't seen the Golden Gate Bridge. So we stood up early and went to this amazing view. Luckily the sun was shining and there was no fog. July15
From San Francisco we then went on to Oregon and discovered this pretty amazing spot. We drove for a while and needed a break so we looked out for a nice spot. I think we succeeded. July15
We were in a Hotel in Newport right next to the beach. From our hotel room you could see the sun rising and setting behind the ocean which was incredible. One evening I was at the beach and when it got darker I decided to leave. But not before I took this shot. July20

I took the first photo when we were up on the Space Needle in Seattle. We lived outside of Seattle on an island. Our house was next to a harbor and we had an amazing view. We had to get on a ferry which brought us to Seattle but that was okay because we only left twice. There was loads to do even on a little island. We discovered a river which had thousands of little fish swimming around. We always were the only ones and stood with our pants rolled up in the water.
We also often went down to the sea where were these huge rocks you could climb on. I always sat on one and read and there where even some snakes!

On our last day we went to a 5 seconds of summer concert. We were pretty far up but we sat in the first row of one of those balconies. It was incredible and sooo loud.
