CHRISTMAS
The weekend before Christmas I finished up wrapping all my presents!
I turned up my Christmas music, sat at my desk, and laid out all my decorations, presents and wrapping paper and put on some candles.
I pretty much built up a Christmas workshop.
I bought some candy canes to put them under the bows and shopped of some fir branches from my garden. This year I chose pretty plain wrapping paper because I wanted to go all out on the decorations.
At NANU NANA I picked up different sizes and variations of bows and ribbons, which makes all the difference and is probably the easiest way to decorate.
I also bought some chalk board stickers, which are amazing. They came with some chalk and you can reuse them or you can erase and write again and don't ruin the wrapping paper.
I figured that a hot glue gun comes very very handy when decoration, cause then you can literally stick everything that comes to your mind on there!

The day before Christmas
Now, I feel like the last weekend before Christmas eve is the most stressful. You gotta check that you really didn't forget to buy a present for your mother's sister's best friend, that you have enough wrapping paper, for everything you bought and that you don't run out of bows, ribbons, tape, stickers, fir branches.....
Today is December 23rd, and the countdown to 2016 starts, and all the stress slowly fades out, and you get really exited and start planning and thinking about your new years resolutions. Which might actually be more stressful than the week before Christmas!!
But now you just gotta chill and be exited for the best day of the year (?)
Cookies in a jar I: Grab some yogurt glasses or any other (they just have to be big enough) decorate the glass, bake some cookies, put them in there, tie a bow around it! TADAA!
Cookies in a jar II: Buy a glass jar or just get a yogurt glass again. (They have to be closeable!)
Layer: 100g flour
1 tbs baking powder
100g soft brown sugar
30g cocoa powder
50g dark chocolate chips
50g white chocolate chips
Add: 1 egg
80g butter
Bake: at 170 C for 7-9 minutes
